The Grounds
Relax and enjoy our many shared areas... an expansive lawn overlooking the harbor, outdoor firepit and dining areas, wrap-around porches, famous Quarry Tavern (with darts and Cornhole), and spacious Lookout Room, stocked with books, games, puzzles, television, microwave and refrigerator.
The East Wind has ample, complimentary parking onsite, and high speed Internet for guest use. It is conveniently located next to the Post Office and General Store, and boasts the best breakfast and water views on the peninsula.
We have a ChargePoint EV charger for guests driving an electric vehicle to the Inn. We also have moorings available to rent through the Tenants Harbor Boat Yard for those sailing in.
Pet-friendly Rooms
Bring your beloved friend with you to the East Wind! We allow dogs up to 75 pounds in Rooms #20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 of the Captain's House. They are welcome in outdoor dining areas and can join you on the wrap-around porches, but are not allowed in shared indoor spaces. There is a $50 pet fee due at check in, and a maximum of two dogs per room. We hope to see you and your tail-wagging companion soon!
Hotel Amenities
All rooms are non-smoking, and have a private bathroom, television with cable, heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, new mattress, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap (additional toiletries and irons/ironing boards are available at the front desk). Suites and larger rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed for a third-person; and we keep a pack 'n play onsite for those traveling with little ones.
Coffee, water and tea are provided each morning in the lobby and Lookout room, in addition to local chocolates from Wilburs upon arrival. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know. We hope you enjoy the views from your room and our small town, Mid-coast Maine hospitality.
